It is time to register for Summer and Fall Classes. You can register online or if you need help please come by and meet with an academic advisor. FREE MOVIE NIGHT!!!!!!

Come join MCC students for a FREE movie night on the Bullhead City Campus. On February 16th 7pm in room 210 the paralegal department will be showing the classic film "To Kill a Mockingbird". Please come and enjoy the fun. Free popcorn and sodas!!!!

Tonight February 9th at 5:30 pm in room 600 is the Love Your Business Expo!!!! Please stop by and support your local businesses. Free to the public!!! Raffles, food, fun!!! Come and see for yourself!!!

Tooth Fairy is educating local kids

Who better to explain dental health to Bullhead City kids than the Tooth Fairy. February is National Children’s Dental Health month and Mohave Community College second year dental hygiene student, Yvonne Ramirez, decided she would be the tooth fairy to Bullhead students.

Ramirez says “ I am currently in the Community Dental Health class and we are required to visit area schools to promote healthy oral hygiene habits and provide children with the education to build these habits. I decided to dress as the tooth fairy to get the attention of the kids.”

Ramirez recently visited Diamondback Elementary school and presented goody bags of dental care products to children. Ramirez and fellow students will be visiting additional area schools in the near future.

The holiday season was crazy and registration even crazier. Sorry I have not blogged in a while but between facebook and maintaining all the pages I am now responsible for I have been negligent in keeping up my blog, which is my favorite place to chat. I know alot of students had problems registering because of financial aid problems. But we still have 12 week classes coming up the week of February 14th and it is not too late to register. Come see and advisor and get registered for classes. If you have completed new student orientation you should be able to just go on line and get registered. If you need help of any kind just give me a call and I will be happy to give you a hand.
